Local school transportation vendors in Houston are hiring bus drivers to serve our local schools. Our partners will pay for your training and certification. You are also guaranteed a $500 bonus when you get your permit and another $500 bonus after 90 days of work.

Earn $21+ per hour

We offer competitive pay and benefits, including healthcare, paid time off, 401(k) retirement, and a great place to work. One daily route earns 5 hours minimum plus opportunity for extra trips & hours.

Generous schedule

Follow the academic calendar with weekends, holidays, and summers off. Eighty percent of drivers work full time or match a part time route with hourly work at a school and supplement with field trips.

We pay you and support you to get the training and certifications you need, such as a commercial driver’s license (CDL).

What you need

Experience driving a bus and working in a school environment is not necessary—we will train you. However, here are some important requirements.

You are interested in serving your community, serving friends, family, and neighbors.

You are 21 years of age or older.

You are able to get a commercial learner’s permit (CPL) in Houston. Visit the Bureau of Motor Vehicles website for more information on getting your CDL or CPL.

You have a minimum of 3 years of experience driving on public roads.

You are able to pass a background check and drug test.
